On the 6th December 2008 fifteen year old Alexandros Grigoropoulos was killed by police whilst out with friends in central Athens. His death prompted thousands of young people take to the streets in riots that lasted 3 weeks, setting Athens ablaze and consuming a nation in violence and chaos.
In Children of the Riots some of those teenagers, who witnessed his death and the running battles with the police, reflect on their worlds several years later as they deal with Greeceās on-going crises and a new wave of protests and riots.
